Our school rugby team played in the first Tag Rugby match we have ever played. The other schools that played were: Hallow, Lower Broadheath, Martley, Abberley, Lindridge, Great Witley, Tenbury, Grimley, Clifton and Astley (They didn't turn up-just to make things complicated)
We arrived at 3.45pm, and the first game of the day was at 4.00pm. We took a team of 12, and we were playing '5 tag' rugby.
We played 4 matches and as we didn't have much previous practice and experience, we lost them all, and because of how we played, I honestly think that it was definately down to luck.
After playing 3 of those matches, we felt pretty bad with ourselves (because we lost them all), but we were ready for our final game which was against Hallow. Frankie scored the first try, and then they came back and scored, making the game very tense, the scores being 3 to Hallow and 2 to us. Then Matt scored, making the scores even. We had 5 minuites to go, but we were now too tired to get the best skill out of us, and Hallow scored 3 consecutive trys, a great feat compared to our feeble 1.
The end score was 6-4 to Hallow.
Unfortunately, Astley didn't turn up so we didn't get to play another game :(
