On the 2nd of July 2009, Kidderminster Harriers (football club and team) came to Broadwas Primary School to do a penalty shootout.
Most of the school took part in the penalty shootout and the 4 winners from each class were: Frankie Purcell- 5/6, Joe Wilkinson-3/4, Ollie Wilkinson-Y2 and Henry Biggs-Y1 reception. The final two were Frankie-5/6 and Ollie Y2. But the winner was……. OLLIE!
He won a medal and a chance to watch Kidderminster Harriers play against the 'Baggies' West Bromwich Albion. There he will take part in a penalty shootout again before the game and at half time. What an experience and what a prize!!!
